Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Aideen Kennedy tributes pour in after UTV presenter dies aged 43

UTV presenter Aideen Kennedy has tragically died at the age of 43, shortly after telling fans she had been diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Just hours before her death, the journalist and presenter had posted on social media to say she was receiving palliative care.

Writing on Twitter on Friday, she asked her followers to “keep an eye out” for her children, Jacob and Eva. Aideen posted a photo of the youngsters along with a picture of a card they made for her, which read: “To Mummy, I hope you get well soon.

I love you loads.” She added in the caption: "The kids know [I'm terminally ill]. If you ever come across them, will you an eye out for them, they are the kindest, sweetest most thoughtful kiddies." A spokeswoman for UTV then confirmed the sad news of Aideen's death on Sunday.They said: "The UTV family is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former colleague and friend Aideen Kennedy. "A truly gifted reporter, she spent many years at UTV bringing viewers stories from all over Northern Ireland. "We wish to extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family at this very sad time." A number of Aideen's UTV colleagues have said their condolences, including the channel's former political editor, Ken Reid.
