Pedestrians in a Cheshire town have found themselves the victims of 'idiot' drive-by splashers after being squirted by a mystery liquid.
Multiple people claimed to have been targeted by a white Fiat 500 on Sunday (October 2) and Monday (October 3). The pedestrians were walking along the pavement in Alsager when they were suddenly drenched through the window of the car, with the liquid getting onto their faces and in some cases in their eyes.
It is believed the liquid was harmless water. Among those to get a soaking included Lucy Twentyman who was making her way down Lawton Road shortly after 6pm on Monday when she was hit in the face, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live.
