Last night's National Television Awards saw daytime talk show Loose Women lose out to This Morning in the Best Daytime Show category.

Starting today's episode, the Loose Women discussed their loss, with Kaye Adams saying: "It's the morning after the night before" as the audience groan alongside the panellists. "We did have a great time at the NTAs last night," clarifies Kaye, 59, with Linda Robson agreeing with her co-star.

Kaye then congratulates This Morning, with the panellists and audience sharing a round of applause, including Linda, 64, who had not joined in with the applause during the awards ceremony.

The panel then thanked those who did vote for them, with Kaye asking her co-stars: "So how are we feeling this morning girls?" Linda and Judi Love then chimed in saying that they had a great time at the ceremony.Talking to panellist and former Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, Kaye said: "I'll tell you what Kelly, as a born winner I was watching you face as we didn't win cause I thought 'what's Dame Kelly Holmes going to do when we lose?" To which Kelly, 52, responded: "I'm not very good at hiding when I'm disappointed, I was having to go to like this [leaning down to the table] and swear a little and them come back up." Continuing she says: "I have nothing against This Morning at all but we were really revved up weren't we? "We had so much energy like 'ah they ladies have done so well'" Linda then interrupted her co-star adding: "And you always win don't you?" referencing Kelly's previous to career as a sprinter, where she won multiple gold medals at the 2004 Olympics.
