Woman, 21, rushed to hospital after stabbing in Scots town

A man has been arrested after a woman was stabbed in Stirling on Saturday evening.Officers from Police Scotland were called to King Street in the town at around 8.20pm following reports of an incident.The 21-year-old was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment of a stab wound.

Her injury is described as non-life threatening.A 29-year-old male is currently in custody following the incident. He is described as a white man and local to the Stirling area.A statement from Police Scotland read: "This is being treated as an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.
