Most of his fortune came from his iconic performance on the Corrie show where he ruled hearts as Mike Baldwin.This hefty amount was split amongst five of his six offspring - Jennifer, Stephanie, Michael, Anthony, and Mark.
His daughter Karen Briggs, aged 55, is thought not to have been included due to her supposed struggles with heroin addiction.
Word has it that their relationship soured after allegations surfaced that 55 year old Karen was responsible for supplying Class A drugs to her own 14 year old daughter.
