Emboldened Rangers recruitment guru Nils Koppen has revealed his side will keep a firm eye on Scottish talent and aim to develop their standout talents for the biggest teams on the planet.The Dutchman – presenting his vision at the club's latest fan advisory board with the minutes from the June meeting released on Tuesday – mapped out what he wants to deliver at Ibrox in terms of both incomings and outgoings.
And former PSV signing guru Koppen echoed a key claim from Philippe Clement on the pursuit of selling their best talents to the top five leagues in Europe.Clement previously stated Mohamed Diomande – who signed for £4.3m from Nordsjaelland – was destined to play at a higher level than Scottish football.
And Koppen's desire to keep an eye closer to home has been backed up with the signings of Connor Barron and Liam Kelly this summer.
Other key components for signings include being viewed as robust with quality and athleticism sitting atop the club's wishlist.
