Bruce Springsteen and Noah Kahan both appeared as special guests at an intimate show in New Jersey this past weekend.The two musicians made appearances at The Ocean Ave.
Stomp featuring Tangiers Blues Band show that took place on Saturday (September 14), held at the Stone Pony in Ashbury Park, NJ.The annual gig is part of the festival Sea.Hear.Now’s late shows and saw the event’s co-founder and noted photographer Danny Clinch perform as part of the band.
At this year’s edition of the New Jersey music bash, both Springsteen and Kahan were headliners.At the show, Springsteen took the time to perform various covers including Little Richard‘s ‘Lucille’, John Lee Hooker’s ‘Boom Boom Boom’, Them’s ‘Gloria’ and Chuck Berry‘s ‘Down the Road a Piece’.
Kahan took over the mic to perform a rendition of Johnny Cash’s ‘Folsom Prison Blues’.Other musicians who joined in on the celebrations included guitarist Robert Randolph, E Street Band saxophonist Jake Clemons, Grace Potter and Rachel Ana Dobken.
