Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams Hunter (born Wendy Joan Williams; July 18, 1964) is an American television host, businesswoman, media personality and author. Since 2008, she has hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a "shock jockette". She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality TV series The Wendy Williams Experience which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.

The guardian for Wendy Williams has filed an amended lawsuit against A+E Networks and EOne over the Lifetime documentary reality project Where Is Wendy Williams?

that aired earlier this year, claiming that the TV personality was exploited her participation and paid just $82,000 for the project.

The guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, also claimed that Williams’ signature on her contract with EOne to produce the series “does not appear to be genuine” and there is “no evidence” that she signed the agreement on Jan.

Williams, the lawsuit stated, “was incapacitated and unable to consent at the time the Contract or its amendments were executed, even if she had signed it (which she did not).” Williams’ representatives disclosed earlier this year that she has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
