A vile Scots farm worker who raped a six-year-old girl has been jailed for 10 years after being found guilty of sexually abusing the child.

Ian Brown had claimed his young victim was lying when she told her mum he had hurt her during the ordeal between January and October in 2019.

The 35-year-old pervert’s semen was found on a pair of the girl’s pink leggings at an address in Cardenden, Fife, after the police were contacted and a major probe was launched.

But Brown claimed he has cleaned himself on them after having sex with a woman and said the child’s mother had forced her daughter to make the allegations.
