He's best known for playing heroin addict Sick Boy in the hit Brit flick Trainspotting. But Jonny Lee Miller put on a convincing show as former Prime Minister Sir John Major as he filmed scenes for The Crown.

They were both in the spotlight in the nineties, with Jonny rising to fame as junkie Simon 'Sick Boy' Williamson and Sir John serving as PM and Leader of the Conservative Party from 1990 to 1997. Jonny, who was married to the Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie from 1996 to 2000, looked a far cry from his iconic role as Sick Boy in the dark Danny Boyle comedy in which he starred alongside Robert Carlyle and Ewan McGregor in 1996.
