Van stopped at Carinryan port yields 'significant' cannabis haul

Cops recovered £180,000 worth of cannabis in a raid on a van at a port in Cairnryan.Officers stopped the vehicle at Loch Ryan Port at around 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 12 and found the huge haul of drugs.A 54-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Stranraer Sheriff Court on Thursday, June, 13.

Detective Superintendent Fergus Hutcheson said: "Police Scotland is committed to removing illegal substances from our communities and will take all measures to disrupt those involved.
