Vampire Weekend has released two songs, titled "Capricorn" and "Gen-X Cops," taken from their upcoming album. Only God Was Above Us will be released on April 5 and was announced earlier this week.
In addition to the new music, Vampire Weekend will be going on tour starting in June. The run of shows includes two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Vampire Weekend released their fourth album, Father of the Bride, in 2019. The new album is "inspired and haunted by 20th century New York City" and was recorded in Manhattan, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo.
