Urgent police hunt for missing Ayrshire child who vanished 24 hours ago

An appeal has been launched for a missing child last seen in Ayr with police growing 'increasingly concerned'.Thirteen-year-old Leslie Ann Rowe, known as Ash, vanished on Wednesday around 5pm.Ash is described as being 5ft 1, white skinned and wearing glasses with long dirty blonde hair.

The teen is believed to also be wearing a distinctive green hat with frog eyes on it.Police have asked anyone with any information on Ash to get in touch with officers.Sergeant Roslin Watson said : “As time goes on, we are growing increasingly concerned for Ash.
