Trio brandished machetes during Lanarkshire street disturbance

Three men were caught brandishing machetes during a disturbance on a Wishaw street.Police were alerted to the trouble by CCTV operators, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard on Friday.Facing charges were Mark Ledwith, 28, of Gateside Road, Craigneuk, Scott Cairns, 32, care of Barlinnie prison, and David Buddie, 21, also of Gateside Road.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
