Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Relatives of a beloved Coatbridge mum and nurse who died of cancer aged just 28 are “overwhelmed” after raising more than £1000 in only a day in support of a charity challenge honouring her memory.Maria O’Neill tragically passed away in April, eight months after having been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.

Now her sister and members of her fiance’s family are taking on this Saturday’s midnight walk event to thank all those at St Andrew’s hospice in Airdrie where Maria spent her final days.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Relatives were able to spend precious time with her at the hospice, and now plan a series of “Maria’s Army” fundraisers to remember her and to show gratitude for the support given by the hospice to the whole family.
