Musical royalty, Sir Tom Jones, has become a household name through the decades, thanks to his vast back catalogue of number one hits as well as countless sold-out tours.
The Welshman chronicled his journey in his 2016 autobiography, Over The Top And Back. The 84-year-old even detailed what he really thinks of his fellow coaches on The Voice, while taking a swipe at one, as she left the show for a competitor.
After the unique talent show found success in other countries, it was decided that the UK version would start to air on BBC One in 2012.
One coach who joined Sir Tom on the show was the ever-popular Black Eyed Peas singer, Will.i.am, who Sir Tom instantly took to, writing: "The innocence of a 12-year-old child when he speaks, uses all sorts of expressions of his own, but he speaks with enormous clarity, in fact." Another to join Sir Tom on the panel was British pop singer, Jessie J, whom he described as a 'talented, ballsy kid'.
