Ticketmaster President: Reps. Pascrell & Porter Are Wrong, Company Has Processed More Than $600M in Refunds

The following letter was submitted to Billboard by Ticketmaster President Jared Smith in response to a letter posted on Billboard earlier today by U.S.

Reps. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) and Katie Porter (D-CA). Last month Ticketmaster revealed its plan to offer refunds for all canceled and postponed Live Nation and AEG shows.Respectfully, Mr.

Pascrell and Ms. Porter either misunderstand or elect to misrepresent the realities of our business and refund policies, as we outlined in our April 17 response letter to them.

It is entirely disingenuous and flatly wrong to claim that we have “pointed the finger at others.” To reiterate, Ticketmaster is a platform that allows event organizers to sell tickets directly to consumers.

Maria Singh, neé Princess Maria Galitzine, has tragically died at 31 years old.  The daughter of Prince Piotr Galitzine and Princess Maria-Anna Galitzine, neé Archduchess of Austria, died on May 4 from a "sudden cardiac aneurysm," an obituary published by the Houston Chronicle confirmed. Her untimely passing in Houston came just days before her 32nd birthday.   As a descendant of Emperor Charles I of Austria, Maria was born in Luxembourg and later attended school as a child in Moscow, as well as the College of Art & Design in Belgium.

Dain Art’s Buster the dummy is dressed to the nines in his protective gear holding a colourful ‘Bless the NHS’ sign atop a hut. Owner Eric Dainert found Buster at the skip and gave him a new home at his business premises based at the town’s Kyle Road. Eric’s daughter, Claire Dainert said: “Normally, Buster sits outside on a chair holding a mobile phone and an Irn-Bru and at Christmas he is dressed as Santa. “A lot of customers think he’s a real person until they get closer. “It’s just a wee bit of fun and Buster has become a fixture at the shop."
