Three rushed to hospital after car ploughs into parked vehicles following police chase

Three people were rushed to hospital after a car smashed into a number of parked vehicles in Sale following a police chase on Sunday evening (December 3).

A huge emergency services presence descended on Marsland Road in Sale, near the Moorfield Pub, at around 8.30pm after the vehicle, that was being followed by officers after failing to stop, ploughed into a number of parked cars at the side of the road.

The fire service, paramedics and officers, along with the Technical Rescue Unit attended the incident and cordoned off the road amid investigations into the major smash. It has been confirmed the collision happened after the car in question had failed to stop for officers moments before, resulting in a short pursuit.
