Three Coronation Street legends sign new deals to keep them on the cobbles for another year – and fans will be thrilled

The actors are said to have "jumped at the chance" to extend their contract for another 12-months. ITV bosses are thrilled that the trio have agreed to remain on the cobbles for another year.
A source told us: "Alan Halsall, Andy Whyment and Jack P Shepherd have all been handed new deals to keep them on the cobbles through 2023. "Bosses are thrilled, they're show legends and it wouldn't be the same without them. "They all jumped at the chance - they love their jobs.
