Tesco urgently recalls cold and flu medicine as customers urged not to give it to teens

Supermarket giant Tesco are urgently recalling some of their own brand cold and flu medicines. Anyone who has purchased Tesco's All-In-One Chesty Cough & Cold Lemon Sachets is being asked not to take the medication.

The medication is used to relief cold and flu symptoms and with bad colds flooring many of us around the country customers are urged to check batch numbers on products.

Batch numbers on the outer carton and individual sachets should be checked.Tesco have also warned against giving this medication to teens aged 16 and under, urging that the sachets are for adult use only.

Approximately 78,000 packs from three batches - sold only by Tesco - are being recalled as the sachet labelling incorrectly states that children aged 12 years
