Stirling Albion are preparing to get on their travels as they rack up the miles aiming to keep up their strong start to life in League One.They will make their way down to Galabank on Saturday to take on fellow newly-promoted side Annan Athletic after a much-needed international break gave the Binos squad the chance to rest some weary limbs after a busy opening to the campaign.

The two promoted sides have enjoyed somewhat contrasting beginnings to life in the third tier – with Stirling sitting third after five games with ten points on the board, while Annan are in ninth with four points.

But Peter Murphy’s side have found their feet in recent weeks, with a fabulous comeback 3-2 win over Edinburgh City followed up with a good away point at Kelty Hearts last time out.The weekend’s match will also be the first visit from Stirling to Galabank since one of the most memorable matches in their march to the League Two title last season, where the visitors battled back from two goals and a man down to complete the most unlikely of draws.A 14th minute red card for Binos keeper Blair Currie for handling outside his box had Stirling on the back foot, before goals from Aidan Smith and Tony Wallace had the home side in cruise control at the break.Annan created a number of chances to run away with the matches, but were stunned by two spectacular strikes from Kieran Moore and Ross McGeachie within three minutes of each other to snatch a dramatic point on their romp to the title.Both sides also boasted some of the top marksmen in League Two last season in the shape of Tommy Goss and Dale Carrick – but both have found life a little tougher in League One.Carrick has only notched once so far in the league – a winner from the penalty spot at
