Three months after his tragic passing, further details of BBC Radio 2 DJ Steve Wright's cause of death have been revealed.The radio superstar, whose career extended over an impressive five decades, tragically passed away at age 69 in February, generating a sea of tributes from fans and colleagues alike.
Steve sadly died in his flat in Marylebone, London, with Metropolitan Police declaring the death as “unexpected, but is not being treated as suspicious.” Fans and celebrities were devastated at the news.
It has now been disclosed that no inquest will be conducted, with the latest news from Westminster Register Office that his death is yet to be registered.
In typical instances, a death should be registered within five days, inclusive of weekends and bank holidays, as per gov.uk guidelines.
