The latest series of Love Island may have only been over for a month, but talk has already turned to future seasons. On the back of former contestants Adam Collard and Kady McDermott re-entering the Love Island villa, earlier this week it was announced that Love Island All Stars would be launching on our screens.

After first being announced on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, the official Love Island Twitter account then shared a snap of the villa alongside the message: “The rumours are true! [yellow heart emoji] #LoveIsland: All Stars is coming soon…” As part of the show, viewers will see contestants from seasons gone by attempting to find love again in the infamous ITV2 villa.

While a specific date for the show’s launch has yet to be revealed, Mike Spencer, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment has said that it will be hitting our screens in a matter of months. “It has been rumoured now for a while but we are thrilled to finally confirm that we are making Love Island: All Stars early next year for ITV2 and ITVX,” he said. “It's set to be a must watch series seeing some of your favourite Islanders from across the years heading back to the stunning South African villa to once again 'graft' as their search for love continues.

I simply can't wait!” According to the MailOnline, Megan Barton Hanson is reportedly believed to be taking part and Georgia Steel is allegedly high on the wishlist.
