It feels like just yesterday when we were sleeping with our windows open and panic-buying fans for the summer heatwave, but winter has well and truly arrived this week.

Forecasters have said Brits should wrap up warm if they have plans for Bonfire Night as plummeting temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be followed by snow this week.

Experts have claimed that certain parts of the country could be covered in snow as early as Wednesday, November 4, with temperatures barely reaching above 10C across the whole of the UK.
