A man who carried out a campaign of cruelty on a pug puppy which tragically led to its death has been put behind bars. Callous James Wright-King has been prohibited from keeping animals for life after his "horrendous" crimes with left poor puppy Ruby with a fractured skull, a burn on her back and a damaged back leg alongside numerous other injuries.
Wright-King, 24, was found guilty of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal after a trial held at Teesside Magistrates' Court and appeared for sentencing on November 10, reports Teesside Live.
