Singer James Morrison ‘devastated’ as partner, 45, ‘found dead at family home’
ok.co.ukJames Morrison has been left devased following the reported death of his partner Gill Catchpole aged 45. It's believed that Gill was found dead at the family home on Friday, January 5, and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Sharing the heartbreaking news, a family friend told The Sun: "Gill was found dead on Friday at the family’s home in Whitminster. "James is devastated and is being supported by his family. "He is holding it together for their girls but has asked for the family to be left alone to grieve in private." Gill ran a successful cafe in the family's local village, and shared two children, Elsie, 15, and Ada, five, with 39-year-old James.
James first met Gill when she moved into his mum's house as a lodger, with her then-boyfriend, before they eventually fell in love.
Speaking about this on White Wine Question Time podcast, he previously said: "It wasn't the easiest start, but I just still see it as a really romantic thing.
