This has been stirred further after Labour leader Keir Starmer sacked frontbencher Sam Tarry after he gave a TV interview on a picket line during the rail strike.
And with Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham saying he would join a picket line, we want to know whether you think MPs should get involved with them. Mr Burnham earlier this week said that he would join a picket line and encouraged politicians to 'get round the table' to help find a solution to the cost of living crisis.
Wigan MP and shadow levelling up secretary Lisa Nandy also showed support for striking workers, visiting a picket line at the start of August shortly after Tarry had been sacked from the frontbench.
