‘Bridgerton’ Spinoff About Queen Charlotte Gets a Title, First Look Photo

On Friday, Netflix and Shondaland confirmed the show will be called “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”The series, which Shonda Rhimes is showrunning herself, follows the story of the young version of the character made famous in “Bridgerton” by Golda Rosheuvel.
Netflix also shared a photo on Friday showing India Amarteifio in the young Queen Charlotte role. More details about the limited series are expected on Saturday as part of Netflix’s Tudum global fan event.“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” follows Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power.
Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Agatha Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton) reprise their roles from the main series.Joining Amarteifio in the cast are Michelle Fairley, who plays Princess Augusta; Corey Mylchreest, who plays Young King George’ Arsema Thomas, who plays Young Agatha Danbury (Lady Danbury).
