The 31-year-old Disney star took to the stage to unveil the official title for the new reboot/sequel series of her mega hit series Wizards of Waverly Place.
She will, of course, be reprising her role as Alex Russo in a guest star capacity, and she will also serve as an executive producer alongside co-star and on-screen brother David Henrie, who also reprises his role as Justin Russo as a series regular. Get the latest news inside… Officially titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the new series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo.
When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World. David Henrie will be reprising his role as Justin Russo as a series regular and executive producer, while Selena will also executive produce and reprise her role as Alex Russo in a guest star capacity.
