SCOTS endurance racers Colin Noble and Ian Loggie have finished third and fourth respectively in their LMP3 class in the Asian Le Mans Series.The championship, truncated by Covid-19 to just four rounds, came to a close last weekend after two four-hour races in Abu Dhabi.Defending champion Noble, from Midlothian, and his Nielsen Racing team-mate Tony Wells had a storming start, winning the category in the first encounter.But they could only bring home their Ligier JS P320 Nissan home in sixth place in the second contest.After the initial race win, Noble said: “It was an amazing result in round three – with an awesome job by everybody in the team yet again.”Motherwell’s Ian Loggie, racing in a similar machine with his crew, claimed the third.
