Neighbours has confirmed the sad news that the long-running series will end production in June after losing their key broadcaster and failing to find a replacement.
There were hopes that the Australian Soap would find a new home after it was announced that the show was being let go by UK home Channel 5, but the series has now confirmed that the soap will be axed and filming will finish in June.
In a statement posted on their Twitter account, Neighbours penned: "We are so sorry to say that after nearly 37 years and almost 9000 episodes broadcast we have to confirm that Neighbours will cease production in June."
