School run mum’s lucky escape after horror three-car crash into house

A woman involved in a serious car crash in Blanefield this week has told how she’s “grateful” it wasn’t worse.Emergency services raced to the scene in Glasgow Road at around 4pm on Wednesday.The collision occurred close to the Chillies takeaway restaurant there and a house wall was badly damaged.The Observer understands that the collision involved three vehicles – a white car, a blue car and a campervan-type vehicle – and the occupants of the campervan had to be cut free using specialist equipment.The route was closed and local reports suggested the route was gridlocked with drivers facing lengthy tailbacks Click here for more news and sport from the Stirling area.

Those involved were removed from the vehicle and transferred to hospital for treatment.The driver of the white Dacia Sandero, Roseann Anderson, told the Observer: “I’m grateful no one was seriously injured in the accident as it could have been much worse.

It was a bad experience but it really shows people at their best.“I’d really like to thank the people that assisted everyone involved – the people that helped the kids from the other vehicle, the doctors, the off-duty first responder and neighbours who stopped to help and of course the family that kindly took care of my son.”Roseann added: “I was parked in the parking bays outside Chillies, waiting for my son to come off the school bus.“The campervan is a left hand drive car and it was a German family on holiday.“They’ve come over the hill and hit my car knocking into the road, directly into the path of another car, resulting in a three car crash.”Fortunately a pair of off-duty doctors were nearby and administered first aid immediately.After the collision Roseann’s mother took to social media to thank those
