Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short N’ Sweet’ has gone platinum

Sabrina Carpenter’s new album ‘Short N’ Sweet’ is officially certified platinum.The pop star dropped her sixth record over the summer, featuring popular singles ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please Please Please’.As of Friday (September 27), the singer’s latest album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, meaning the record has sold more than one million units.This also makes ‘Short N’ Sweet’ her first album to reach the milestone, according to the RIAA’s records.The ‘Nonsense’ singer previously achieved platinum with her singles ‘Please Please Please’, ‘Espresso’, ‘Feather’, ‘Nonsense’ and ‘Thumbs’ while her 2022 album ‘Emails I Can’t Send’ went platinum in March of this year.‘Short n’ Sweet’ debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 chart when it came out in August, and remained at the top spot for three consecutive weeks – making it her first chart-topping record.She also landed Number One in the UK, becoming the the first female artist in history to secure both the Number One album and single (with ‘Taste’) simultaneously, according to Official Charts.
