S Club fans in tears as 25th anniversary tour begins without late Paul Cattermole
ok.co.ukPop group S Club donned colourful outfits as they kickstarted their 25th anniversary reunion tour with a show in Manchester.
On Thursday evening, 12 Otcober, the band performed at the AO Arena without band members Paul Cattermole, who tragically passed away in April, and Hannah Spearritt, who withdrew from the The Good Times Tour earlier in the year.The group – formerly known as S Club 7 and now comprising Rachel Stevens, Jon Lee, Tina Barrett, Jo O’Meara and Bradley McIntosh – had announced a UK tour in February to celebrate 25 years.
Rachel donned a red flared and glittering bodysuit whilst Jo sported a turquoise skin-tight suit with matching shoes. Meanwhile, Bradley sported an all-purple fit and Jon was dressed in yellow whilst Tina wore a bright pink bodysuit with thigh-high boots.Those attending the concert have been quick to share their thoughts on social media, with one superfan writing: "@sclub CAN I JUST SAY a heartfelt massive THANK YOU to everyone involved. "It was clear that the band found it hard not to YES I cried 2 times.
but absolutely amazing and I will always be part of the club.Thank you thank you and thank you. PS see you in Liverpool tomorrow" And a second wrote: "What a wonderful night, felt like a 12 year old again!
