Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Royal courtiers 'furious' over new Harry biography's explosive claims: 'Is nothing off limits?'

Royal insiders are said to be 'furious' at the string of claims that Prince William ignored his brother's texts as the late Queen lay dying in Balmoral last year.

Author Omid Scobie shared revelations about Princes ­William and Harry’s feud during a time of personal grief for the Royal Family in his new book Endgame which is due out on November 28.

According to The Mirror, the book claims: "Harry sent a text message to his brother asking how he and Kate planned to get to ­Scotland and whether they could travel together.

No response." But now royal courtiers are said to be furious over the claims with an insider adding that "nothing is off limits." A Royal insider told the Mirror: "It appears no matter what happens behind closed doors, even in a time of such pain and grief, that where the Royal Family are concerned it will one day emerge. "Nothing is off limits with William and Kate appearing to be this author's number one target.
