Roy Keane had a fiery exchange with Wayne Rooney over an X Factor spat in a Manchester United hotel when the England striker first arrived at Old Trafford.
The former Everton striker made the move across the North West in 2004 after making the deadline day move to United. Rooney briefly shared the dressing room with Keane, before the Irishman departed the Theatre of Dreams.
Keane was a dominant, no nonsense midfielder during his playing days and now features heavily on Sky Sports' coverage of the Premier League with the same mantra.
During a recent podcast appearance, Rooney offered an insight into their encounter during their spell at United.
