Jennie Garth wants nothing to do with Dan Schneider anymore. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter out on Saturday, the actress was asked about all the allegations levied against the Nickelodeon showrunner in the documentary series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
She’s one of several actors who was around during this dark era. As you may recall, she worked alongside the controversial writer and Amanda Bynes on the sitcom What I Like About You from 2002 to 2006, which Dan co-created.
When questioned about that at a recent event, she told the outlet: Oof. Not a good sign. Related: Zoey 101 Star Reveals MORE Shocking Allegations About Dan Schneider! Jennie, who played The Amanda Show alum’s sister on the WB series, noted that she hasn’t spoken to her former co-star since the doc aired, but insisted: As Perezcious readers know, Amanda worked with Dan for several years at the start of her career and was in his orbit at the time of his alleged creepy behavior, but she did not participate in the doc.
Sources previously told TMZ that she rejected the opportunity because she wasn’t interested in talking about her child stardom and didn’t feel like she had anything to say that would’ve helped the producers.
