The sixth series of Love Island began broadcasting on 12 January 2020 on ITV2. The series was announced on 24 July 2019 when it was confirmed that two series would air in 2020, and is also the first winter edition of the series. Unlike the summer edition, the luxury villa is located in Cape Town. This series is also the first to be hosted by Laura Whitmore, having taken over from Caroline Flack. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling.

On 15 February 2020, following the death of former presenter Caroline Flack, the Unseen Bits episode due to air that day was not broadcast; but was made available on the ITV Hub. The regular episode did not air the following day either. The show returned on 17 February with a tribute to Flack. On the same day, ITV2 confirmed that the companion series Love Island: Aftersun which was set to air after that episode's main show would not be broadcast. A further tribute to Flack aired during the final on 23 February, which featured a compilation of her time throughout her five series as host

Callum Jones
Callum Rebecchi (also Jones) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours played by actor Morgan Baker. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 9 June 2008. The character was introduced to the show following the decision to stop a storyline that saw Toadfish Rebecchi adopt a child from Indonesia. Baker began filming his first scenes in March. Callum departed Neighbours on 12 June 2014, following Baker's decision to concentrate on his schooling. Baker reprised the role for a cameo appearance on 17 September 2015. He has made subsequent guest appearances from 7 June until 12 June 2017 and again from 20 February until 13 March 2019.

Connagh Howard and his fiancée Beth Dunlavey have announced they're expecting their first child together in a heartwarming Instagram post.

Both Connagh and Beth rose to fame on reality TV – Connagh starred in season six of Love Island and Beth appeared on The Circle – and they appeared over the moon to share the news with fans after going through two years of a heartbreaking fertility struggle and an IVF journey.

Beth excitedly told her followers: “Every injection, every tear, every procedure, every pain; every last inch of this journey has been worth it for you, and I’d do it 100 times over if I had to, we already love you so much. “Our baby decided the time was right and we are over the moon to finally announce we are PREGNANT.” The 29 year old continued: “I know that not everyone’s journey looks like ours, and announcements like this are hard to see, I’ve been there and I see you.To those still waiting for their miracle, I send you all my love and hope.

Don’t give up.” Fellow TV stars rushed to the comments section to congratulate the happy couple. George Shore's Sophie Kasaei said: "Oh my god Beth this is unbelievable.
