Robert De Niro Confirms He Welcomed His Seventh Child Recently!
justjared.comRobert De Niro is a father of seven! The 79-year-old Oscar winner revealed the news in a new interview and Just Jared got confirmation from his rep as well. Keep reading to find out more… ET Canada asked Robert about being a dad and he shared that he believes “in being loving with [his] kids,” but did say you have “to be stern about stuff.” He continued, “I mean, there’s no way around it with kids.
I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice. And any parent, I think, would say the same thing.
You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.” The interviewer then noted, “I know you have six kids,” and Robert added, “Seven, actually.” “I just had a baby,” he said. Robert did not reveal the identity of his baby’s mother, but he was last linked to New York City-based martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen, who he was photographed with back in July.
He split from his wife of 20 years, Grace Hightower, in 2018. Robert has two kids: Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46 with his ex wife Diahnne Abbott and two more kids with Grace: Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11.
