This year's top celeb accessory? A bob. Stars ranging from Kylie Jenner to Zendaya and Louise Redknapp have been quick to chop off their lengthy tresses in favour of this fashionable short 'do, and now Rita Ora - who has long been a fan of flowing, mermaid-like hair - has followed suit with a cut that takes some serious 90s inspiration.

Posting her new look to Instagram over the weekend, Rita captions the series of glamorous snaps: "Sometimes you gota cut out the things in life that don’t serve you".

Cut is a bit of an understatement, we think. What Rita's done is chop around ten inches off the ends of her hair, resulting in a very dramatic transformation.

We also have to wonder if she took some inspiration from Jennifer Aniston's Rachel Green character from Friends, who wore a similarly choppy, pixie-inspired bob in the late 90s.This specific style of short and voluminous cut is also called 'heir hair', and follows the 'quiet luxury' aesthetic that swept social media at the end of last year.Think of it as being an 'expensive' cut that gives a whiff of wealth and lived-in luxury.
