Residents without gas or electricity in Wigan now have to find somewhere else to stay after a flat fire. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) rescued a man from the building after being called out to Warrington Road in Ince at 10.50am this morning (September 24).
One resident, Mark Wilcock, was at his son's football game when he got the notification about a fire at his flat building. They’re [the fire service] going to investigate it. “No one has been in there though. I have to find somewhere else to stay now because I’ve got no electricity or gas. “When I saw the fire service on my camera I said to my son ‘let’s go pack up the car’ to get here.
