Prince William's Salary Revealed for First Full Year as Duke of Cornwall
justjared.comA new report released by the Duchy of Cornwall has revealed Prince William‘s salary for his first full year as the Duke of Cornwall.
The 42-year-old Prince of Wales inherited the Cornwall title and estate from his father King Charles when he ascended the throne in 2022. Keep reading to find out more… The 2023-2024 financial year was William‘s first full year in the new role and the estate’s Integrated Annual Report revealed that it distributed a surplus of £23.6 million ($30.4 million) during that time period. William doesn’t receive a traditional income, but the estate “covers the official, charitable and private expenses” of him and his family, according to People.
The Duchy of Cornwall estate is worth more than $1 billion and was first established in 1337 by King Edward III. The estate provides funds and living expenses for the heir to the throne.
