Prince William is 'making environmental issues mainstream' says Robert Irwin

He shared these words while attending the Earthshot awards ceremony. At the same event, Robert announced one of the winners of the third annual Earthshot Prize.The ceremony took place at the Theatre at Mediacorp in Singapore on Tuesday evening.
Robert expressed his admiration for everything the Prince of Wales has achieved with the Earthshot Prize, saying: "I think Prince William is an incredibly inspiring leader in the field of conservation." Adding further praise, he said: "I'd say he's really at the very forefront, leading the charge and pioneering a new path." Robert also highlighted the Prince's impact, telling the crowds: "He's making environmental issues mainstream, and he's showing us not only the issues that are facing the world but most importantly, the positive change that is being made and the hope that we have for the future." Elsewhere in the evening, singer-songwriter Freya Ridings shared her excitement about the event.
She confessed she was a "genuine fan" of the Earthshot Prize and found it "so surreal" to be at the awards ceremony. Prince William, who chose to re-wear his green velvet Alexander McQueen blazer that he previously wore for the 2021 Earthshot Prize awards, made his entrance on the green carpet.
