Prince Harry ‘burnt bridges’ with royal family by renouncing British residency

I loved working with him. I thought he was someone really special.”“I’m quite sad about it. But it seems inevitable, his two kids are American, his wife is American, he lives there, but it’s a sad occasion,” he went on.“You could say good riddance because he’s been nothing but a thorn in their side but he is the prodigal son, and the prodigal son did return so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.”In 2020, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, 42, relocated to the US, where they now live with their kids Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, in Montecito, Calif., in a move dubbed “Megxit.”The pair were subsequently evicted from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage — which the late queen gifted them following their 2018 wedding.
