A popular brewery and tap room on the outskirts of the city centre has announced it is shutting up shop for good later this week - less than a year after it was taken over by new owners.
Temperance Street Brewery, which is situated in a railway arch on North Western Street in Ardwick, started life as part of the Beer Nouveau brewery founded by Steve Dunkley.
Last year, Steve announced Beer Nouveau - regarded highly within the local craft beer scene - was winding down and Temperance Street Brewery would be sold on.
Katie Sutton took over the premises at the end of 2022 alongside Matt Gibson of Temperance Street Cider.
