Police make further arrest after businesses across Greater Manchester targeted

A man has been arrested as police continue to investigate a series of incidents where paint was thrown over business premises and windows were smashed.

Greater Manchester Police said it is currently investigating 21 reports of criminal damage, which occurred in the city centre, alongside in Bolton, Trafford, Stockport and Bury, between October last year and July 1.

Officers today (July 4) arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage relating to 11 of the incidents across Greater Manchester.
