Final set of stamps with Queen's face unveiled by Royal Mail

The Royal Mail has unveiled the final set of stamps that will feature the Queen's silhouette. The late Elizabeth II will appear will appear on a special set of stamps to mark the 100th anniversary of steam locomotive the Flying Scotsman.

The commemorative set features 12 stamps depicting the National Railway Museum's infamous train across various parts of the UK.

Meanwhile, a miniature set of four stamps featuring images of the Flying Scotsman and London North Easter Railway poster artwork from the 1920s and '30s will also be issued. He added: “We are honoured to mark this landmark milestone with a set of special stamps.” The Queen's silhouette has been featured on stamps since 1966.
