manchestereveningnews.co.ukA former leisure centre in Chorlton is being redeveloped into affordable housing in the current cost of living crisis. The Manchester City Council is partnering up with MSV Housing Group and has now submitted plans to start the development of the new homes.

The remaining 40 homes are expected to be will be priced at or below the local rent allowance with lettings for the homes being prioritised towards people over 55.
The addition of this rule is expected to free up the waiting list for homes to rent in Chorlton giving families in the area a chance to find their dream home.
