EK, East Kilbride was sparkling at the weekend as Santa flew into his grotto in the town centre.The great man was welcomed by hundreds of good boys and girls as he made his way through the centre accompanied by his elves.Santa will visit the town centre every weekend in December (10am to 4pm on Saturdays, 11am to 4pm on Sundays) and in the run up to the big day from December 22 to 24 (10am to 4pm).

No booking is required, and every child will receive a magical Christmas gift when they leave.The centre will be supporting Kilbryde Hospice throughout the festive season and any visitors who would like to donate can do so at the grotto entrance.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The centre’s full-size sparkling snow globe is a must-visit for kids and adults alike. Situated outside Santa’s grotto, the globe will be open for festive selfies from 9am to 6pm every weekend leading up to the big day, plus December 22.
