The Nigerian thought he'd levelled to make it 2-2 in the second half, but an earlier foul by Tom Lawrence on Tomiki Iwata was flagged by VAR, and the goal was chalked off.
But Beaton appeared to point to the centre circle, which sent Ibrox prematurely mad. However, the whistler was pointing to where the foul had taken place.
